We’ll look at what is needed to get started, and what bookkeeping tools might help.

Take control and learn tips on how to help keep your small business out of tax trouble. Learn about tax information for businesses on IRS.gov, obtain an understanding of business recordkeeping and why it’s important, and learn what resources are available.

• The difference between various bookkeeping software, including a brief tour of QuickBooks
• The importance of a Profit & Loss Statement and a Balance Sheet
• Tax tips and resources available via the IRS
