About Me:

Matt Levitt was born and raised in Maryland just outside of Washington, DC. After finishing his undergrad business degree, Matt moved into an old ford conversion van and set off to see the country.

Several months into that round-trip-turned-one-way excursion, Matt stumbled into Tahoe on a perfectly blue June afternoon and immediately fell in love with the clean air, clear water, and outdoor lifestyle that Tahoe had to offer.

Matt went back to school at University of Nevada to pursue an MBA, and a few years later dreamt up Tahoe Blue Vodka: A vodka that not only captures the essence of Tahoe’s clear, blue waters but embodies that lifestyle and vibe that make the area so extraordinary.

Under Matt’s Leadership, Tahoe Blue grew to more than 60,000 cases, making it one of the largest independently owned craft spirit brands in the country and on the list of top 10 fastest growing vodka brands in the US for 5 consecutive years.

Matt is currently freelance consulting and has coached/consulted for a variety of small businesses in various fields including Consumer Packaged Goods, Restaurants, Marketing Agencies, Breweries and more. He has designed a variety of retail packages, created static and video ads, managed marketing and PR campaigns. He has assembled a supply chain from scratch and helped select winning retail real estate.

Matt enjoys snow- & wakeboarding, running, hiking, boating & beaching on Tahoe’s sandy shores and snowy mountains, as well as spending time with his 3 daughters.
