About Me:
Wilson Li is a business finance strategist, advisor, and entrepreneur who helps small business owners take control of their finances and build businesses that last. His career has always lived at the intersection of entrepreneurship and business finance, a balance of practical, hands-on experience and strategic financial leadership.
Early in his journey, Wilson co-led Forest, a startup in the restaurant supply space, where he managed finance and operations as the company scaled from $5M to $20M. He later built his own creative agency, growing it to nearly 7-figures before ultimately shutting it down due to financial mismanagement. A hard-earned lesson that reshaped his professional mission: to help other business owners avoid financial pitfalls.
Today, he runs My Accounting Squad, a bookkeeping and advisory firm that helps businesses clean up their books, build better financial systems, and grow profitably. He also volunteers as a SCORE mentor and leads financial education workshops for small business owners throughout the region.
With over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, entrepreneurship, and advisory work, Wilson brings a unique blend of empathy, real-world insight, and sharp financial acumen to his work with SBDC clients.
